According to the definition used by the Cochrane Collaboration, ‘Complimentary and Alternative medicines (CAM)’ is a broad domain of healing resources that encompass all health systems, modalities, practices and their accompanying theories and beliefs, other than those intrinsic to the dominant health systems. According to famous medical expert Eskinzi, they are broad health care practices that are readily not integrated into the dominant systems.
