Ingredients
- 2 cups of rice (soaked in water overnight)
- 1 1/2 cups of white jaggery
- 1 cup gratedcoconut(grind it coarsley)
- Pinch of salt
- Oil or Ghee for frying
Method
Remove all the water from the soaked rice.
Crush the rice into fine powder.
Sive the mixture .
Thake a thick base pan and put jaggery.
Allow it to melt and become a thin syrup.
Then add the ground coconut .
When the water gets evoporated you get to hear the sputtring sound in the pan.
Remove the pan from the flame.
Then add rice powder slowly to the pan stirring continuously.
Leave it for a day.
Next day,make round balls and give them the VADA shapes and fry them in the oil or ghee.
