KadleBele Halwa(Chana Dal sweet) PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • Kadle Bele(Chana dal) 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Grated dry coconut(kobbari)2 table spoons
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Water 1 cup

Method

Soak Kadle bele (Chana dal) in water for an hour and grind it into fine paste.
Heat ghee in a pan and kadle bele paste and sugar.
Stir continuously until the paste thickens.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
apply ghee on a plate and pour the mixture into it.
Sprinkle Kobbari(dry coconut) on it and cut into pieces.
