Halasina hannina kadabu (Jack fruit sweet) PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • Halasina hannu Pieces 50
  • Rice 1 1/4 kg
  • White jagerry 3 cups
  • Grated coconut 1/2
  • cardamom 8
  • salt pinch
  • Ghee
  • Plantain leaves

Method

Grind all the ingredients except Ghee and plantain leaves.(dosa batter consitency)
Cut the plantain leaves into 1/2 meter.
Grease it with ghee.
Fold and tie one end with a therad and pour the batter into it and tie the other end.
Pour the remaining batter into the plantain leaves .
Tie them tightly at both the ends.
Steam in a pressure cooker or the kadabu container

  • Commonly, ghee is served with kadabu
