Ingredients
- Rice 1 kg
- Butter (benne)2 1/2 lemon size
- coconut 1/2 (grated)
- salt
Method
Wash rice 3 to 4 times and soak in water for 4 hours.
Grind soaked rice with coconut and coarsely.
Then add 4 cups of water bring it to boil and add the batter to it.
Stir continiously, then add butte to it and cook for 10 minutes with the lid closed.
Remove from the flame and knead the dough well.
Do not leave any lumps in the dough.
Make small balls and steam them like idlies in a pressure cooker or kadabu container.
- This goes well with Mutton curry or chicken curry.
