Shunthi Thumbli (Gingery buttermilk) PDF Print E-mail


Ingredients:
# Ginger(finely chopped) 3 tablespoon
# Fresh Coconut(grated) 1/3 cup
# Buttermilk 1 1/2 cup
# water 1 cup
# salt 1/2 teaspoon

For Seasoning:
# Oil 3/4 teaspoon
# Mustard Seeds 1/2 teaspoon
# Red Chilli 1
# Asafoetida 1/8 teaspoon

Method:

Blend ginger and coconut with 1/2 cup of water into a smooth mixture. Pour it into a medium size bowl and add remaining water, buttermilk and salt . Then season it and mix well.
